Sugar Free Citrus-Pomegranate Salad
This is a fragrant salad with oranges and pomegranate seeds. It is easy to make and super good to eat!
If you’ve recently made a recipe using pomegranate seeds, then you probably have some left over. I recommend using them in your next few recipes in your side dishes. For instance, you can make this amazing sugar free citrus-pomegranate salad and sweeten up your side dishes.
When you plan your meals, it’s probably rare that you think of adding a fruit side. And even though we tend to love fruits more than vegetables, we often get less servings of fruit per day, even though we should be eating 2-4 servings of fruits every day. Let’s change that and start adding more fruit side dishes to our dinners.
And when you can make them healthy and sugar free, there’s no reason not to!
This sugar free fruit salad is so easy to make, it will take you less than 5 minutes.
- 5 medium oranges
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 tbsp Lite&Sweet
- 2 tsp orange juice
- Cut a thin slice from the top and bottom of the orange; stand the orange upright on the cutting board. With a sharp knife, cut off peel and outer membrane from oranges. Cut ½ thick slices.
- Arrange orange slices on a serving platter; sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
- In a bowl, mix Lite&Sweet and orange juice, Drizzle over fruit.
