This sugar free chocolate cake is to die for! It is such an easy recipe plus no bad sugars. With this recipe there is an added frosting recipe that is also sugar free added to the end of this post.
My kids and husband are ALL about the chocolate; I myself don’t mind some chocolate here and there. But after reading what is put into normal cake mixes and chocolate in general I started to really get concerned with what I was having my family eat. At that point I decided I needed to come up with a chocolate cake everyone would love and that was sugar free.
The key ingredient to this cake is called LITE&SWEET it is a mixture of xylitol and erythritol. It is a natural sugar that doesn’t harm your body the way normal store bought sugar would.
For people who are diabetics and get worried about eating different sugars this is one you should all go out and get. It does not harm your body and only does good to it. I myself had diabetics and started to use LITE&SWEET instead of other sugars and saw a huge change in my diet and lifestyle. It made me feel a lot healthier.

  • 2 cups Lite&Sweet
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Sugar Free Frosting

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 3 cups powder Lite&Sweet
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


Heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.Stir together Lite & Sweet, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed with mixer for 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and place on cooling rack. Cool completely.

Sugar Free Frosting

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Add powdered Lite&Sweet and milk, beating until it’s reached spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla.
