Do you ever feel like once you start eating watermelon you can’t stop? Because that’s how I am! If there is a bowl full of watermelon sitting in front of me I will eat every single piece and will try to not share any of it. So instead of being greedy and keeping the whole bowl to yourself, just turn it into a popsicle that you don’t have to share! And to make it even better, you can make it a sugar free popsicle!

Fruits are a must when sitting outside all day long. But sometimes it seems like my kids would rather be eating anything but fruits. I have learned you have to be sneaky with kids, and when they hear the word popsicle, not matter how healthy it may be, they will come running. I also take in consideration we are getting to the hottest months of the year and we need to beat the heat by staying hydrated and watermelon is 92% water which makes the perfect ingredients for a Popsicles. There’s something about your 4 year old dripping popsicles all over her ten different outfits (because you have to keep changing her-thanks to the popsicles), that just really makes it feel like it’s officially summer.

This no sugar added watermelon popsicle is the perfect summer snack or treat for your kids at the pool, the park, after a soccer game, or even for dessert! It is much healthier than eating a big bowl of ice cream or even any of those sugary popsicles. Plus your kids are getting the vitamins and nutrients that they wouldn’t be getting from a processed or sugary snack. And like I said, it’s all a mind game with little kids. Once they see it’s a popsicle they will come running! You can feel good about what they are eating when you make this simple recipe with only few ingredients. Try it and your family won’t be able to resist the sweetness of this recipe because I’m swapping the sugar for a better and healthier alternative Lite and Sweet is so sweet and perfect for anyone that wants to swap sugar from their diets.
