Low Carb Multigrain Bacon & Cheese Breakfast Tortilla

I am on a breakfast kick lately. I think it’s because I recently realized just how many different ingredients and flavors you can use to make a quick healthy breakfast even at 6:00 in the morning. Now we all know the different flavors we get from savory sausages  or sweet French toast, but what I’m talking about is using fresh sliced avocado and little bit of hot sauce together in a breakfast dish. And they all come together in low carb multigrain tortilla with little bacon and cheese breakfast.

Cheeseyness, spicyness, savoryness, I’m not even totally sure those are words, but they are exactly what comes to my mind when I eat this breakfast tortilla. You get tangy and spicy flavors all while keeping things fresh by using avocados and spinach. Combining super healthy ingredients that are low in fat, high in protein and fiber. Plus, we use a multigrain tortilla so you’re getting different flavors from the different grains. And all of these flavors perfectly combine together. But what I love about this recipe is that it’s not just subject to these ingredients, if you want to have a breakfast tortilla that is more on the spicy side than the savory side, add spicier contents. And vice versa.

Breakfast might be my favorite meal as of lately. There are so many things you can do with it and as I have mentioned before, it’s one of the best times to get your family together. You know that when you start your day eating healthy and happy you’re going to have a good day. So start your days off right with this bacon and cheese breakfast tortilla and I know you won’t be disappointed! You will be full and satisfied for a long and productive day ahead.

Yield: 1 serving


1 Multigrain Flour Tortilla

1 slice of Applewood Smoked Bacon

3 tablespoons your favorite Cheese, shredded

½ of a fresh Avocado

A couple leaves of Spinach, freshly chopped

Your favorite Hot Sauce

Salt and Pepper


  1. Take your slice of raw Bacon and rough chop it. Cook the slices over medium high heat in a saute pan until crispy. Spoon the bacon pieces onto a paper towel to drain and cool.
  2. Remove the extra bacon drippings from the pan.
  3. In that same saute pan, heat the tortilla in the pan on medium heat, sprinkle the cheese and the bacon bits over the tortilla. Remove the tortilla when the cheese has melted.
  4. Slice the half of the avocado up and arrange on your open faced tortilla, sprinkle with your favorite hot sauce and chopped Spinach. Serve immediately!
