I recently posted about 3 salads that I felt were the perfect summer recipes. But we all know that every good salad needs an amazing salad dressing! Here are 3 sugar free summer salad dressings. Refreshing, delicious and sugar free is the way to go for these warm summer nights. They are easy to put together and are just as easy to enjoy! Check out my blog to find salads that will go perfectly with these.
Sugar Free Lemon Flavored Salad Dressing
The first salad dressing I chose is a sugar free lemon flavored dressing. Having a sweet vinaigrette is a popular choice in a salad dressing. But instead of raspberry or strawberry I have decided to switch things up and go with one that uses lemons. This recipe can go with any of those salads you would usually eat a sweet vinaigrette with, but it’s a whole new flavor! Along with having a new pop of taste we also have a dressing that is sugar free. I use Lite and Sweet which is a mixture of xylitol and erythritol to add a hint of sweetness without adding calories. It’s the perfect light and airy dressing that will go great with any mixture of greens. And will of course go great on a summer day!
Sugar Free Caesar Dressing
The classic Caesar salad is an obvious salad favorite. And we all know that thing that takes it over the top is the dressing. It is a mixture of sweet, sour, spicy and all things flavorful! This tangy dressing is what brings the salad together. I personally could eat a spoonful and not even know I was missing the salad part! So it was a no brainer when deciding to make a sugar free Caesar dressing. There’s not one event, party or get together that there isn’t a Caesar salad present, and I’m always the one asking to bring it! It’s one of my favorite things to make and I love showing everyone that you can enjoy homemade, sugar free dressings!
Sugar Free Balsamic Dressing
I think we can all agree that when we see, smell or even hear about a salad drenched in balsamic dressing we know it’s going to be a good meal. It’s rich in flavor and with this specific recipe, low in calories! Sugar free balsamic dressing can go with any type of salad if you love balsamic as much as I do! Like any other dressing I make, I could eat it plain. Which I don’t think is a bad thing when it’s sugar free! I think vinegar is an acquired taste, and I try my best to have my family branch out with their flavors, so using something like balsamic vinegar on a salad is the perfect way to open up their taste buds. My girls have learned to love it! So if you’re looking to branch out and try something new this is the perfect dressing to start with. Plus it’s sugar free so you won’t feel guilty after eating a bowl full of this flavorful dressing!
